Bessone Set For 4-6 Weeks On The Sidelines

Bessone Set For 4-6 Weeks On The Sidelines

Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez suffered an injury blow last night as Fede Bessone will be sidelined for 6 weeks.

The Spanish full back broke a rib during last night's Carling Cup win at home to Brentford and was stretchered off after 60 minutes.

It's a disappointing setback for Bessone, after having only just signed for us in the Summer.

Physio Richard Evans told the Official Site:

'The bad news is that Fede has a broken rib,''

'The good news is that there are no complications.

'Fede will now go through the normal rehabilitation process and he should be back within four to six weeks.''

We could have certainly done without this but we have Painter who is also a very good LB.
