Orlandi Looking To Shine In Championship

After missing the last three months of the season with a knee injury Andrea Orlandi is chomping at the bit to make an impression in the championship next season.

Orlandi has received a welcome boost ahead of next seasons campaign after manager Roberto Martinez declared that the former Deportivo Alavés as potentially the best left footed midfielder in the championship. The midfielder was just beginning to find his feet in British football before sustaining knee damage against Brighton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy semi final on the 8th January.

Thanking Martinez for his support, Orlandi is hoping that he can play a part in the Swansea squad next season and the midfielder believes that the whole team are ready for the tough challenges that face them next season.

Orlandi Told The WM:

"I'm not so sure about that one. Of course, it's a great compliment. I've been very grateful to the gaffer because he's talked highly of me for a while, even though I haven't been able to show as much on the pitch because of injury. It's good to get that kind of support from your manager and I just hope I can help play a part in his plans. I think I have done okay. It is not because I am back in Spain and wanting to impress at home, it is simply because I am feeling ready. I think the whole team is ready for a big challenge this season, against big clubs, many of who are potential Premier League teams. I know what's needed and now I can't wait to get started."

Swansea City fly back from Spain this afternoon.

I can't wait to play Swansea. So that we can hammer you and teach Martinez a lesson that he won't be so lucky this year.

I'm going to take a guestimate and say he's a scum fan 'cos he's obviously too thick to put who his club is. RETARD!!!
