Scotland Operation A Complete Success

Striker Jason Scotland's operation to rectify a muscle strain in Germany has been a complete success.

Scotland will now be fit to face La Liga side Espanyol on the 25 th July in the first game of the pre season Spanish tour. There were concerns that last seasons league one top goal scorer would miss a significant proportion of the pre season tour of Spain but Swansea physio Richie Evans fully expects the Trinidad and Tobago international to resume full training on Saturday and take part in the tour in Spain.

Evans Told The SWEP:

"It went very well and we are pleased with the results. Jason will step up his training and will be back in full training on Saturday. We will make sure he is ready for a game situation, and if he is, as expected, then he should play a half in the opening game in Spain.'

Swansea City fans will get their first chance to see the new boys in action as they face Neath Athletic tomorrow evening at the Gnoll.

great news , the sooner scotland can start working with Pintado as a possible strike partner the better.

It will be good to have him back fully fit for the start of the season.
willow
hope he'll work on his fitness and speed though! i do think he'll do well in holding the ball for pintado, they could work well together that way.

if they do they'll be a lethal partnership next season
