Martinez Östersunds A Good Exersise

Roberto Martinez has expressed his delight at the 6-0 win over Östersunds FK and has thanked the local community for their hospitality.

Swansea started the pre season friendly campaign with style. Gorka Pintado scored his first hat trick for the club and more impressively only took 32 minutes to grab his goals. Guillem Bauza grabed a brace whilst Swansea new boy Mark Gower rounded off the win.

Martinez Said:

''It was a great exercise, Ostersund are midway through their season and were young and very fit, so it was a good work out for us.The hospitality was also excellent and it was great to see a few Swans fans there from our supporters group out here in Sweden. All three goals were well taken and different,'' added Roberto. 'The first was a one-on-one with the 'keeper; the second a volley from a Chris Jones cross; and the third a thunderbolt from a close-range free-kick."

Tickets for Kristian O Leary's testimonial game against premiership new boys West Bromwich Albion on August 2nd will be on sale from Monday. Only the West and East stands will be open which means Season Ticket holders are NOT guaranteed their seats. Tickets cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for concessions (full time student, senior citizens, disabled and children under-16). Family deals are available and for £25 for one adult and two children can take in the game whilst £40 will cover two adults and two children.
