'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Way Resigns For Yeovil Town

Darren Way has made his expected switch to former club Yeovil Town for a fee of £50,000

Resigning for the Glovers on a two year deal the midfielder has ended his injury plagued Swansea career after making only 16 first team appearances for the club after his £150,000 move from the Somerset side in January 2006..

Way Spoke On Yeovil's Official Site:

'It's good to come back home and I am looking forward to the season ahead.Swansea didn't quite work out for me the way I had hoped it would, but I have gained a lot of experience from my time at Swansea and hope to use that experience throughout the rest of my career.I'd like to thank the staff at Swansea for everything they have done for me and I wish them all the best for the coming season. It's been a pleasure to work with Roberto Martinez and his assistant Graeme Jones and with their experience and knowledge I expect them to go on to bigger and better things.'

Swansea City will face Östersunds FK on Thursday as part of pre season preparations.
