Exclusive: Bodde Not Travelling To Sweden

Vital Swansea understand that midfielder Ferrie Bodde will not be travelling to Sweden with the squad this weekend.

However, it's believed Bodde may join up with the squad later on during their time in Sweden.

As well as our own source, the rumours he's staying home have also been posted on Derby County's BBC 606 page and the news is now being reported by the likes of the Daily Mail and Sky Sports.

Ferrie Bodde has continually shown his frustration this Summer over the on-going saga between Swansea and Derby.

The Rams have said they've ended their attempts to sign the Dutchman but that's been said by them more than once in recent weeks and yet they return with improved bids.

It's thought that Bodde is refusing to travel so that he can sort out his dream move to Derby County as he awaits the Swans to finally agree a fee.

What course of action should the Swans take on Bodde? Should they sell and accept a bid lower than their 2m evaluation?

The Chairman has stated 2M is the fee, and should wait until someone comes up with the money.
