Martinez: No Swansea Move For Ian Harte

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has ruled out a possible move for former Leeds United left back Ian Harte.

Speculation over a possible move for Ian Harte started last Summer when his former club Levante arrived in Swansea for a pre-season friendly.

However, the Swans boss says we are covered at left back and that he won't be signing, Martinez BBC Sport:

'I know Ian well from his time in Spain. He has had a fantastic career but at the moment, we are well covered in his position.'

Instead, it looks like Watford are favourites to land the 30 year old.

We have already signed defenders.

He is quality, but i agree that martinez has already signed enough defenders to keep us covered for this season. Still not sure where the goals will come from though. I look forward to being proved wrong though
