Bessone: "I'm delighted to sign for Swansea"

Swansea City new boy Federico Bessone is delighted to have signed for the Liberty Stadium outfit and has declared it a new challenge in his career.

Bessone who began his career in the complex team system at Barcelona spent last term on loan to segunda B outfit Gimnastic de Tarragona. Whilst with Nąstic the Argentinian born defender made 10 appearances for the Catalan club.

Argentinian by birth the defender holds an Italian passport that enabled club officials to bypass the complicated work permit laws that non European Union nationals must go through to work within the United Kingdom. Bessone arrives on a free transfer from Espanyol and can play anywhere along the back line which will further bolster Roberto Martinez's options.

Declaring he has followed Swansea since Guillem Bauza moved to the club last summer the defender has become an internet addict in search of news on Bauza's progress at Swansea City.It would be Bussy who would be hugely influential in Bessone's decision to make a move to the second teir of the British game.

Bessone Spoke On The Official site:

'I'm delighted to sign for Swansea,It's a new challenge and a new way of life for me.I have been following Bussy's (Gulliem Bauza) progress at Swansea on the internet. In fact, I've become a bit of an internet addict on Swansea."

Bussy painted a clear picture of the club for me. And having shared a dressing room with him for two years, I've got the utmost respect for him.I would have come to Swansea anyway, but the fact that Bussy painted such a bright picture of the club made my decision that much easier.''

Darryl Duffy's is expected to complete a £100,000 move to Bristol Rovers within the the week.

I think Swansea are going to have a decent season. IF, you hold onto Ferre Bodde.
