Middlesbrough Show Bodde Interest

Middlesbrough Show Bodde Interest

Rams manager Paul Jewell has claimed that Middlesbrough have shown interest in signing Ferrie Bodde.

Derby County have themselves made a third bid for the Dutchman but that has been rejected by Swansea City but Jewell is still confident a deal can be done to bring the former Ado Den Haag player to Pride Park.

Jewell Said:

'I would imagine there are a few clubs in for Ferrie because he's a good player.I know Middlesbrough were interested, so we're up against some decent competition. If West Brom are in for him, we've got to try to get over that hurdle. We'd just like the opportunity to speak to the player. Our bid has been rejected by Swansea. But the two chairmen are speaking and trying to thrash a deal out."

Swansea yesterday confirmed that they are interested in signing Liverpool's Adam Hammill.

As I say... don't sell him (unless Ipswich come in for him)

If he goes to Middlesboro then he is out to better himself, i will accept that. Derby is not bettering himself.

yeah exactly, its teams like Middlesborough he should be looking to sign for, not other Championship clubs.
