Anderson Snubs Swansea For Forest

Paul Anderson has snubbed Swansea City in favour of a move to Nottingham Forest.

Roberto Martinez had hinted this week that the highly sought after winger had chosen the South Wales club over a move closer to his Melton Mowbray home. The Liberty Stadium club were thought to have offered 100,000 to secure the player on a season long loan but Forest outbid Swansea City .

Anderson Spoke On Forest's official site:

"I enjoyed last season at Swansea but after speaking to Forest I just felt that it was the right move for me. I'm joining a big club in Forest and I am very excited about the challenge of trying to help them make an impact in the Championship. I realise I will face a battle to get into the team because there are some very good players here but I have confidence in my ability to do that." "

Swansea City look set to unveil the signings of defenders Fede Bessone and Albert Serran within the next 24-48 hours.

Robbo, Bodde and now Anderson. Something not right that its only Spanish players wanting to be down here! Could be a long season.

On 24th. June headlines read "Swansea Set To Win Anderson Race" after Martinez had spoken to him. It is therefore disappointing that he had not been man enough to tell Martiez of his decision 2 days before.
