Swansea City Sign Defender Serran?

According to reports, Swansea City have signed Spanish defender Alberto Serran.

There has been speculation in the last few weeks linking the Espanyol defender with a switch to the Liberty Stadium and it now looks as if the move is set to be finalized.

Swansea City have yet to publish any news on the signing but it certainly looks likely that Martinez has added another Spaniard to his squad.

The highly rated 23 year-old made just 1 appearance in the Spanish Premier League (La Liga) last term, and is now set to put pen to paper on a 3 year-deal with the Swans.

Also included in the first 2 years of the deal is a buy-back clause for Espanyol, according to Spanish reports.

Sounds a quality player, why didn't Ipswich hear about him? Oh well, Swansea is an awsome club, he'll do good there.
