Swansea Director Rubbishes Derby Bodde Claims

Swansea City have hit back on claims from Derby County that Ferrie Bodde was house-hunting in the Derby area.

Director David Morgan has declared the former Hull City chairman's claims have no foundation and are without any real evidence. He also revelled that Ferrie Bodde's family have been visiting the players ill aunt in Holland.

Pearsons claims have angered Swans chairman Huw Jenkins who has been forced to reiterated the clubs stance on the Dutchman on more than one occasion and the state of negotiations between the two clubs looks set not to improve.

The Pride Park outfit had tabled a third bid for the former Ado Den Haag player thought to be worth up to £2 million however the deal has been received with a lukewarm reaction from Jenkins who insists the club are in no rush to make a decision.

Morgan Told The Derbyshire Telegraph:

"I can confirm Ferrie Bodde has not left Holland since the start of the summer. His aunt is ill in hospital and he's been visiting her on a daily basis. The comment from Adam Pearson that Ferrie is house-hunting in Derby is without any foundation."

All at Vital Swansea wish Bodde and his family well and hope the players aunt recovers from illness swiftly.

We should just tell Derby to go forth and multiply. F OFF.

I think this has gone far enough now. Pearson has no integrity. If all he can do is invent bull***** stories about Bodde house hunting in derby it just goes to show how desperate he is to get him. I think that Bodde himself has a lot to answer for. Don't get me wrong I don't want him to leave but if a big club (and I don't class derby as a big club at all) came in for him from the premiership I'd wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts. But the way this whole squalid affair has been carried on leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. His behaviour throughout this has been a huge slap in the face to all swans fans and he should apologise in the media to us all. If he did and recommitted himself to the club I'd be the first to forgive him as he is a special player. If he needs more money give him an improved contract ! As for derby, if I was huw jenkins I'd tell them "we're not going to do business with you over Bodde no matter if you offer 4 million . We will keep him til his contract expires and let him go on a free ! " They need to know that they've **** on their chips.

If you sell him, survival just gets that bit harder again. Derby isn't good enough for him anyway. He should join Ipswich.
