Derby Offer £2 Million For Bodde

Derby County have been said to have offered Swansea City a deal of up to £2 million for Ferrie Bodde.

The deal however will be worth up to £2 million including add ons. One report in the local media has suggested that the deal on the table is not a full cash deal which would hint at a possible player plus cash deal.

Momentum is now firmly gaining behind the Pride Park outfit and a deal could be reached in the very near future. Bids of £500,000 and £750,000 were turned down flatly by Swansea for the former Ado Den Haag player in quick succession.

Swans Chairman Huw Jenkins had put a price tag of £2 million on the Dutchman and vigorously defended the clubs firm stance over the price tag.The Bodde transfer saga has caused a bitter war or words between the two clubs in recent weeks but it finally seems that this ongoing bidding process is about to come to a close.

Swansea paid only £85,000 for the Delft born midfielder but with a 50% sell on clause payable to Ado Den Hagg. No offical confirmation of has been disclosed by club officals at the Liberty Stadium about this new Rams bid.

Would like it to be sorted now. If he does go then i think i would rather players instead of cash cos half the money is going back to Holland.

Let's hope it's not one of these "we'll only pay the full amount if we are promoted" deals...

It shows what a disgusting offer Derby's first one was when they only offered £500,000! Now you could buy a few good players to replace him with the cash.
