Jenkins Ready To Dig Deep To Capture Anderson

Jenkins Ready To Dig Deep To Capture Anderson

Huw Jenkins is ready to dig deep into the Liberty Stadium coffers to land Liverpool ace Paul Anderson on loan for next seasons championship campaign.

Swansea could shell out a fee of over the £100,000 barrier to secure the services of the pacy winger. It is thought that league rivals Nottingham Forest were lining up a £750,000 bid for the winger. Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed that talks have been ongoing with both Anderson and his agent to broker a deal to bring the highly sought after youngster back to the club.

Anderson's contributions on the pitch last term led to rave reviews that firmly put the player on the map. Making 36 appearances and scoring 8 goals the winger has become a prime acquisition target for Roberto Martinez has he looks to bolster his attacking options.

Jenkins Told The SWEP:

"We have talked to Paul and his agent. We would definitely pay a fee to take him on loan, which could be at least £100,000."

Derby County have officially withdrawn their interest in Ferrie Bodde.
