Swans In Hunt For Defender Mills?

Swans In Hunt For Defender Mills?

According to the Yorkshire Post, Swansea City are trying to hijack Doncaster's £300,000 bid for Manchester City defender Matthew Mills.

The Swans are believed to have joined the race to sign the Manchester City player, but we'll have to pay out a big 6-figure fee.

Martinez has admitted however that he'd be prepared to beat our transfer fee record paid, £400,000 for Ashley Williams if the right player came along.

Sean O'Driscoll has admitted that we'd be able to pay better money for Mills so you'd certainly fancy our chances in landing him if we were really keen.

Having said that, Martinez has a huge number of targets - some overseas in Holland and Spain that could cost a fraction of the price.

Just been on Vital Man City site to check for information under "player profile" for Matthew Mills. It only shows 2 players. Vital Swansea must be the best site for showing all relevant club information.

Go to Man City's official web site. He'd be a very useful addition to our squad.
