'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pintado: 'The Deal Of My Life!'

Swansea City target and Granada CF striker Gorka Pintado seems very much interested in a move to South Wales.

The 30 year-old has 1 year left on his contract with the Segunda Division B side and the Swans have offered 60,000 euros for his services.

It won't be enough to tempt the club to sell one of their prize assetts but the player is excited at the prospect of a move to English League football, Pintado told the Spanish media:

'This is the deal of my life and I am very excited by the possibility of playing in England.'

Despite offering an attractive wage deal to the player, a 4 year contract worth around 240,000 euros a year, the Swans are still miles off Granada's asking fee of 300,000 euros.

Spanish fans have come over to Vital Swansea in force and have posted their views on the situation. He's very much a fans' favourite and they'd be bitterly disappointed to lose their star man.

If Martinez could pull this move off then it'll hugely impressive, and we'll have a high quality striker ready for the Championship next season.
