Swansea Interested In Spanish Striker
Thanks to a number of Granada CF supporters visiting and posting on our forum, they have indicated to us that there are reports in Spain linking us with a move for striker Gorka Pintado.
You can visit the forum thread here which has a number of views from Granada fans.
Despite only a 60,000 euro transfer fee offer from the Swans, Roberto Martinez has apparently lined up an attractive wage deal to inspire him to a move.
The 4 year deal on offer is worth 240,000 euros a year which also includes win and goal bonuses.
He scored 18 goals for the Segunda División B club last season. He's 30 years old which probably explains our very small transfer bid.
Granada CF fans rate him very highly and posted on the site that we would need to substantially up our bid if we wanted to secure his services.

He looks a class act and in the video when they won 6-2 Granada scored 5 of their 6 with the head, not sure if all were Pintado but we have been severly lacking in the striker who can score with his head area since we lost Bayo/Feeney/Fallon!
