Season Ticket Sales Expected To Break Records

Club officials are predicting bumper season ticket sales as fans flock in their droves to get their seats for next seasons Championship campaign.

Fans have seen an inevitable price rise this season with the club looking to compete on a financial footing in the Championship. Tickets went on sale yesterday morning with queues forming all along the back of the South stand. Club officials confirmed that the majority of sales yesterday were from new applicants.

Ticket office staff sold around 300 season tickets alone within two hours of opening for business, and should sales continue at a steady rate over the summer the 8000 barrier looks all but set to fall.

Club Officals Told The SWEP:

"Our previous record for season-ticket holders was the 8,000 we had last year, but we're expecting that to be broken. The queues started very early and, encouragingly, they were mostly supporters who were not season-ticket holders last year."

Anyone who was a season-ticket holder has until June 14 to renew that seat, so to have a lot of new buyers is very pleasing."

Season ticket prices will be as follows:

Adults:

Category A: Season Ticket £459, Single Match Day Ticket £23
Category B: Season Ticket £399, Single Match Day Ticket £20
Category C: Season Ticket £399, Single Match Day Ticket £23.

Under 16`s

Category A: Season Tickets £199,Single Match Day Ticket £10
Category B: Season Ticket £199, Single Match Day Ticket £10
Category C: Season Ticket £50 Single Match Day Ticket £10.

Category A: Season Ticket £299, Single Match Day Ticket £15
Category B: Season Ticket £259, Single Match Day Ticket £13.
Category C: Season Ticket £259, Single Match Day Ticket £13.

There will be no 12 book season tickets next season.

Applications for Season Tickets will be taken on Monday 12th May whilst existing season ticket holders have up until the 14th June to retain their seats for next season.

To obtain concessionary rates proof of entitlement must be show to the ticket office at time of purchase.
