Watt To Leave Swansea City

Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Steven Watt will leave the club this summer.

Watt signed for Swansea City on the 10th January 2006 from Premiership side Chelsea with great fanfare. Disappointingly the Banff born player only made four appearances for the club since 2006.

His last appearance for the club was in the 2-1 loss to Port Talbot Town in the FAW Premier Cup quarter final on the 15th January 2007.

Last summer Watt was given one last chance to impress and was sent on loan to Scottish Premier league side Inverness Caledonian Thistle .Making only one appearance for the Caley Jags this season through injury, the former Barnsley player failed to impress and is now without a club after ICT boss Craig Brewster has admitted the player does not have a future at the club.

Feel sorry for him
Adilson
He joined us as a promising 20 year old. It is a great pity that we did not see his potential and going back on loan to his home area did not help.
