Bodde Is Vital Swansea's Player Of The Year

Bodde Is Vital Swansea's Player Of The Year

Well done to Dutch midfielder Ferrie Bodde for winning Vital Swansea's Player of the Season poll!

Poll Results:

Ferrie Bodde 31%
Jason Scotland 24%
Dorus De Vries 19%
Leon Britton 7%
Angel Rangel 6%
Garry Monk 6%
Paul Anderson 3%
Andy Robinson 2%
Tom Butler 1%
Darren Pratley 1%.

Roberto Martinez signed Bodde for Eredivisie club Ado Den Hagg for a fee around £85,000.

He became an instant fans favourite at the Liberty Stadium for his no-nonsense style of play and his sheer quality.

He's made a huge impact here in South Wales and no doubt he'll step up to the new level next season in the Championship.

His play-making, passing, tackling and shooting ability amongst others have been a joy to watch this season and he's been nothing short of instrumental in our Championship winning season.

Following Bodde in the voting results is top scorer Jason Scotland, who has netted 29 goals so far.

Leon Britton followed in 3rd ahead of Angel Rangel and captain Garry Monk.
