'Best Decision Was Joining Swansea'

'Best Decision Was Joining Swansea'

Swansea City and League One top scorer Jason Scotland said it was his best decision ever to join Swansea City last Summer.

It's been his first season ever in English football and he has got off to a superb start, scoring 29 goals.

The 29 year-old joined from Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone where he had a similar impressive goalscoring record.

Scotland said he couldn't have made a better decision last Summer by joining the Swans, he told the Western Mail:

"I don`t think I could have made a better choice than joining Swansea,"

"It has definitely paid off for me because we have been promoted in my first season.

"I didn`t know what to expect from my first season in English football. But I`ve got 29 goals so far and we`ve been promoted. I can`t ask for anything more."

Dorus De Vries has also said that joining the Swans has been an ''upward step in my career.''

"Promotion in my first season definitely justifies the decision to join this club.

"We have some Championship quality and promotion was really the only option for us. It`s been a great move for me and this is an upward step in my career.

"Everything will be better for us next season. So, when you put everything together, this is a great club to be at."
