Anderson, Possible Permanent Stay?

On-loan Liverpool winger Paul Anderson has hinted that a permanent move to Swansea City could be possible in the near future.

The right winger has told the Evening Post that a move to the Swans would be likely if he failed to make the grade at Anfield.

Roberto Martinez has expressed his interest at extending his loan stay at the Liberty Stadium, which would give Anderson a new challenge as we're on the verge of promotion to the Championship.

Having proving himself at League One level, he now needs a step up in class and continuing his loan spell with the Swans in the Championship next season seems the best decision all round.

That decision being better than returning and staying at Liverpool, where realistically he will struggle to play much football for the Premiership side.

Paul Anderson has certainly enjoyed his time in South Wales and he said:

'Hopefully Swansea will be in the Championship - I think it would need a miracle for us not to make it now - which is a great league with some good players.'

'I'd love to come back and compare myself to them with Swansea.'

'Maybe in a couple of years, if it doesn't go well at Liverpool, I could come back here permanently.'

His pace and skill down the right wing has been missed in the last few months and returned to Liverpool for treatment on his thigh injury.

He's back now and available for the promotion run-in, just 4 games left of the season as the Swans look to finally clinch promotion when they travel to Gillingham tomorrow.

It can be achieved without kicking a ball however, providing Swindon beat Doncaster tonight.

I can't see him making the grade at Anfield but i'd say he's too good for the Championship. What a signing he would be.
