Fans Vote To Splash Cash On Williams

Fans Vote To Splash Cash On Williams

In our recent site poll, we asked our viewers how much they think we should spend on new loan signing Ashley Williams.

The Stockport County defender joined us on loan last week, the day after he made his Wales debut in the 2-0 win in Luxembourg.

With County allowing him to join us it suggests the move will be made permanent in the Summer when the transfer window opens again.

The League 2 outfit, currently competing in 5th place, rejected a £500,000 bid last season from Luton Town.

Here's how the fans voted:

<£100,000 - 4%
£100-200,000 - 2%
£200-300,000 - 12%
£300,000 + - 39%
Don't Buy Him - 2%
Wait until the Summer first - 41%.

39% would like to see us spend the cash to see the defender sign permanently while 41% want us to wait first to see how he performs for the remaining 6 games of the season.

Our new poll asks for your Player of the Month vote for March.

Who was our best performer last month? Vote now on the right hand side.

Should we splash the cash for Ashley Williams?

250,000 - 300,000 would be a decent price i think.

cyjax...toshack started him for wales, he's captain at stockport, some of their fans think they'll slip out of the play-offs just because he'll miss the last few games.
