Painter Out For A Month

Marcos Painter has been dealt a cruel injury blow after sustaining a re-occurrence of a hamstring injury with the news the former Birmingham player will be out for a month.

Roberto Martinez has commented on the latest defensive injury crisis that has seen Garry Monk sidelined with a back spasm . The Spaniard hopes that the defender will respond to treatment quickly but has warned that the Left Back could be out for longer.

He Told the Official Site :

"He will have an injection in the next day or two,''

We'll have to wait to see how he reacts to it. If everything goes okay he'll be out for two to three weeks, but depending on the response it could be four or five.''

Swansea City will face a tricky fixture away to Bristol Rovers tomorrow evening at the Memorial Ground.
