More Injury Concerns For Swansea

More Injury Concerns For Swansea

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has more injury concerns following today's 1-0 win away at Huddersfield.

The 3 points comes at a cost as Garry Monk, Andy Robinson and Jason Scotland have all picked injuries.

Captain Monk wasn't included in the 16-man squad as he was missing with a back injury.

Andy Robinson didn't come out for the second half as he suffered a thigh problem but he should return for next Friday's game at home to Millwall, so too should Monk.

Scorer and match winner Jason Scotland had to be stretchered off late in the game with a broken toe which could mean he misses the rest of the season.

It comes as a huge blow as we already have striker Guillem Bauza out along with Lawrence, Painter, Anderson, Bauza, Orlandi and Tudur-Jones.

Physio Richard Evans told the Official Site:

"It looks like Jason has broken a toe in his left foot,''

"He will have an x-ray at Morriston Hospital to confirm the diagnosis.''

"We took him (Robinson) off at the right time and he should be fit for Friday's visit of Millwall to the Liberty Stadium.''

"His (Garry Monk) lower back stiffened up on Thursday,''

"We were hoping it would ease in time for him to travel on Friday, but he was in too much discomfort.

"With a bit of treatment this week, he should be okay for Friday.''
