Gueret: Best Team Won
Former Swansea City goalkeeper Willy Gueret said the best team won after MK Dons knocked Swansea City out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The Swans won the match 1-0 but Paul Ince's side won on penalties following Scotland's miss.
The League 2 leaders have earned themselves a trip to the Wembley for the final while Swansea can focus completely on winning promotion to the Championship.
Willy Gueret was the star man in the first leg, making a number of saves to keep us out as Johnson scored the only goal of the game to give them a 1-goal advantage in the second leg.
He also saved Scotland's penalty which sent them through. He insisted that he wasn't looking for revenge over his former club, he told the Western Mail:
|"It`s wasn`t about facing Swansea and being desperate to do well, I just wanted to do my job. I didn`t want to get revenge over Swansea, now that I`m a Dons player. I wanted to play the best I could just as I would have if I`d been in a Swans shirt.|
"It`s never easy to play against your old club, but I had a good time when I was at Swansea City. I have some great friends there and my family in law are from Swansea, so I don`t have any bad feeling for the club at all.
"It was a great night and I think overall the best team won, we deserved to win it and we can look forward to Wembley now.
"I wanted to have a good game and try to keep another clean sheet, unfortunately, that didn`t happen, but, apart from the goal, I didn`t have much to do.
