Butler Confident Of Cup Turn Around

Swansea City winger Thomas Butler is confident the Swans can reach the Johnstone's Paint Trophy despite trailing the semi-final tie 1-0.

Jemal Johnson put League 2 leaders MK Dons in front in the first leg at the Liberty Stadium last Tuesday.

Martinez's side travel to stadium:mk tonight needing to win by 2 clear goals to reach the final at the new Wembley Stadium.

Tom Butler scored the winning goal in Friday's game at Luton and he's confident they can turn it around tonight:

'It was disappointing to lose last week because we created enough chances in the first half hour to be 3-0 or 4-0 up so it could have been game over,'

'But we're only 1-0 down and turning that round is not a lot to ask.

'They will probably be cautious early on. I think they'll look to see how things go for 20 minutes and, if we're on top, they might play defensively and try to stop us.

'But we're used to that. We play against teams all the time who set out to get men behind the ball and, whether it's been home or away, we've been breaking these sides down all season.

'If we're a goal down going into the second half tonight, we'll have nothing to lose and the manager will tell us to go right at them.

Swansea City fans can pay on the day at stadium:mk.

The match will also be shown live on Sky Sports, kick off is at 7:45pm.

Vital Swansea will be providing live updates tonight where you can chat with other fans during the game.

i'm not as confident as butler is about tonight, we won't win by playing the same team as the first leg.
