Bodde Fit For Port Vale Trip

Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez has received a boost with the news that Ferrie Bodde has been declared fit for Saturday's trip to Port Vale.

The midfielder suffered a knee injury during Friday's 1-0 home win against Walsall. He went off for a few minutes but came back on moments later to strike the winning goal.

The 'Dutch Roy Keane' has quickly recovered despite a gash in his leg caused by a stud that went right down to the bone.

Fortunately there was no ligament damage and although he was expected to have a fitness test on Saturday morning, he's already fit and raring to go again.

It's a huge boost as Bodde keeps proving why he's such a valuable member of our squad.

He is definately our hardman! Carried on playing after being injured, now he is back and ready to play. Good on him!
