Walsall manager Richard Money says Swansea City will win the League One title 'by a mile'.
Not only that, but he thinks we'll compete well next season in the Championship.
Ferrie Bodde's wonder striker early in the second half was the only thing to separate the sides last night, but Money was hugely impressed by Swansea's performance and said:
| 'I've seen a team tonight who will not only win this division by a mile, but will go on and compete extremely well in the Championship next season. 'With a couple of additions in the summer, they'll have a real good run at that division, and you've got to admire the way they play. 'They move the ball really well when they're in possession, and when they haven't got it they work extremely hard. 'We've played them three times this season - and lost all three - and they have impressed me every time. But this was the most impressive they have been.' |
| 'It's a great compliment coming from someone like Richard Money, who has done a very impressive job with his Walsall team,' 'I'm very pleased with the result because it was always going to be a difficult challenge against a well organised and hard working side. 'But all credit to the boys, they made sure our point at Crewe proved to be a good one and not a bad one with this victory. 'The attitude and commitment was spot on and we showed patience on the pitch and in the stands, which I thank the fans for. 'We limited Walsall to just one shot on target; and when you can afford to miss a penalty and go on to win it shows the determination and unity we've got in the dressing room. 'It was a complete performance, but we are a long way from getting promoted yet. 'Everything is decided in the last third of the season, and that doesn't start until next week.'' |
